Welcome to St. Matthew United Church of Christ. We are very excited that you have joined us. We strive to recognize and nurture the Christ in ourselves and each person that we encounter along the way. We are located at 3400 Norman Ave in the beautiful community of Mayfield in northeast, Baltimore, MD. We hope you will join us for service on Sunday to experience for yourself the fellowship of Christ. Each Sunday our Worship Service begins with Fellowship Time at 10AM, and continues with worship in the Sanctuary at 10:30AM. Everyone is welcome! Meet Pastor Bartell
Our Minister, Reverend Eugene P. Bartell has been an inspiration to the Baltimore church community for over 30 years. The founding President of United Ministries and a founding member of a program to serve and feed the hungry (the Supper Club), his sermons are full of insightful stories that have real-life meaning and scriptural relevance, all while being engaging and full of life-force.
